Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. Ramadan is observed the evening of Sun, March 10, 2024 – Tue, April 9, 2024.
Dining During Ramadan: Where and When to Find Halal Meals
- The Village: Stations (Village Grill, Simply Made, Coffee Connection & Smoothies) open daily until 12 AM
- Millbrook Market: Open daily until 12 AM
- The Bear’s Den: Stations (Simply Made & WUrldFusion) serving Halal meals open daily until 11 PM
- Paws & Go: Open daily until 1 AM; Hot Halal meals available during Ramadan at Paws & Go
- The DUC: Simply Made Bowl open Monday-Friday until 7 PM.
Additional food items will be added to Millbrook Market, Paws & Go, and in the Bear’s Den during Ramadan:
- Halal-Certified Mango Juice
- Dates
- Grab & Go Breakfast items including Roasted Veggie & Egg Burritos, Beef Bacon & Egg Burritos, Egg & Cheese Muffins, Beef Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuits, and Egg, Cheddar, & Chive Brioche Sandwiches
Spring Break Adjustments:
- From March 9th – 17th, The Bear’s Den will feature a FoodSpot Fridge stocked with Halal grab-and-go meals and snacks. FoodSpot accepts Meal Points, Bear Bucks, and Credit/Debit.
- Paws & Go and Café Bergson will offer Halal grab-and-go meals from March 11th – 17th.
