Tiffany De La Roche has been promoted to Director of Dining Services at WashU.
De La Roche is an accomplished professional with two decades of extensive experience in operations, who previously was the WashU Assistant Director for Dining Retail Operations.
“Tiffany has been exceptional as a leader,” said Jason McClellan, assistant vice chancellor for University Services. “She’s worked collaboratively with our local dining retail partners to onboard them as WashU dining services and strategically promoted the In St. Louis for St. Louis partnerships to create unique dining experiences for our students and the WashU community.”
De La Roche joined WashU in 2023; she worked with WashU’s previous campus dining partners Bon Appetit since 2012. Among her accomplishments as a dining leader, she created a system to track and report COVID-related expenses during the pandemic, served as an expert on financial matters relating to dining for the management team and university partners, she also supported the onboarding of new dining operators.
“Tiffany has been an instrumental part of our WashU Dining team collaboration with campus partners in creating a team that works together to serve our students, faculty and staff. We know that her abilities are what is needed to further develop the dining program at WashU,” said Greg Minner, executive director for University Services.
De La Roche’s commitment to staff growth and empowerment has resulted in high-performing teams and enhanced overall organizational effectiveness within WashU retail dining, which includes locations like The Fattened Caf, Collins Farms, Corner 17 and other partnerships with St. Louis restauranteurs.
