Student Meal Plans 2009-2010

Click here for 2008-2009 Meal Plans

Washington University's meal plans operate on an "all points" or "declining balance" basis. This offers students a retail based program, providing more flexibility and spending options.

Meal points are allocated on a semester basis. This assists students to budget their meal plan points. Points not used during the Fall Semester will carry-over to the Spring Semester. Points not used by the end of the academic year will be forfeited. Undergraduate Meal Points may be used at all Washington University Dining Services locations on the Danforth, North and West Campuses. Undergraduate Meal Points are not accepted at the Law School Café, or at the School of Medicine.

Student Meal Plan Descriptions

Grab-a-Bite Plan Designed for the student who is a very light eater, who has a job or internship off-campus, or who because of documented medical reasons, may be significantly limited in what he or she can eat. (Note: Not available to first year students.)

Meal Manager Plan A basic meal plan that will best meet the needs of students who eat a couple of meals a day and an occasional snack in the University's Dining Facilities. (Note: Not available to first year students.)

Square Meal Deal Plan The most popular meal plan among resident students! Sufficient for most of those who want to grab something light for breakfast, have a quick lunch, and have dinner with their friends.

Meals Plus Plan This plan will best suit the needs of those students who want sufficient meal plan credits to provide for three meals a day, snacks and/or beverages in-between, and still enough credits to take advantage of special menu items or stock up on favorite items from the residence hall convenience stores.

The Bountiful Plan Some students require more calories due to their involvement in athletics or because they maintain a very active life-style. This plan may be for you if you regularly enjoy breakfast, a mid-morning snack, lunch, an afternoon "smoothie", dinner and a late-night snack.

Fraternity Plan This plan is limited to residents of on-campus fraternities.

Off-Campus Plan This plan is the minimum required for those students residing off-campus or at Millbrook Apartments, University Apartments, or at home.
