And you can manage it all on-line in the secure environment of HRMS Self Service!

Some of the FAST Plan Advantages are:

    • You do not need to carry cash.
    • Manage your dining dollars by purchasing points to be placed on account, or by    establishing a Personal Spending Limit charge account. Purchase points through    Payroll Deduction or at the Office of Residential Life.
    • All Washington University Dining Services locations will accept your card.

How does it work?

Select the features you want to include, and build the plan that fits you!

DECLINING BALANCE FEATURE The Declining Balance Feature is a Pre-Pay option. Choose an amount of points (1 point = 1 dollar) to be placed on your card. Points are deducted at the register when food is purchased. Points may be added to your account either by payroll deduction through HRMS Self Service, or by check or cash at the Office of Residential Life.

CHARGE FEATURE Set your own Personal Spending Limit. Select the spending limit (per pay period) that you are comfortable with. Present your card at the register each time you make a food or beverage purchase. Your total will be tallied against your personal spending limit balance. Each pay period, you purchases will be deducted from your paycheck and your limit will be reset. Your Personal Spending Limit may be changed on-line through HRMS Self Service

USING BOTH FEATURES If you prefer to use the Declining Balance feature, but wish to have a charge feature available, simply activate both features. In this case, points are deducted from the Declining Balance first. If your points are depleted, the Charge Feature is activated similarly to "overdraft protection".

NOTE: Declining Balance Deposits and Personal Spending Limits may be changed on-line through HRMS Self Service.
