Our History
Bon Appétit's business is providing excellent food and service with a commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction. Beginning in 1987 as a San Francisco based catering company, we quickly expanded into corporate and education foodservice management taking with us our catering expertise.

Our managers and chefs are professionals who are trained to consistently meet and then exceed expectations by blending years of management experience with fanatical attention to every detail. Our chefs prepare their food with the freshest of ingredients and creativity. They embrace the idea of creative freedom and dazzle our customers with great food presented with flair and imagination.

Bon Appétit believes fresh ingredients are essential for producing great food. What we want people to remember from their eating experience is the taste. Great taste is a result of our chefs' experience creating authentic and diverse menus. We are a company whose core philosophy is steeped in the wonder of authentic foods and flavors.

Our Dream is to be the premier onsite custom restaurant company known for its culinary expertise and exceptional customer service.


BON APPÉTIT AND WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY: A WINNING COMBINATION

Washington University entered into a contract with Bon Appétit in 1998. Through innovation, solid experience, and the ability to customize high quality food programs, we continue to meet the objectives of a changing student population. We provide restaurant-style food with on-campus convenience, and cater to the entire university population.
We offer the finest quality foods, beverages, and specialty items. Meal preparation always begins with the freshest of ingredients. Meat, fish, and poultry are chosen from the finest cuts. Fresh fruits and vegetables are an integral part of our menu selections. Soups, sauces, many of our breads, and pastries are baked on campus each day. Vegetarian and Kosher offerings are also prepared daily on campus, allowing for the best flavor and appearance.

Bon Appétit's strong commitment to people translates into outstanding service to our customer needs, tastes, and expectations. Get to know our staff, several of whom have been dedicated to serving our campus community for many years.
